A few more photos of leaves changing colors in Rockford. Minnesota area. The colors are not as vibrant as they were in Southern Minnesota when we were coming home from California last week. I’ll keep my eye out for other opportunities though.
Today was our shopping day which included Costco and Cub,
with a side-trip to the Subaru dealership in Brooklyn Park about 6 miles east
of Buffalo. We needed new windshield wipers. Auto Zone had an off brand that
they would sell us for $35.00 each, which would need to be modified. Subaru
sells the wipers we need, without a need for modification, at $23.00 each. We
are also looking at winter tires. We could get them at Costco and then must buy
wheels from Discount for a total of $1050.00. Subaru will get us the tires and
wheels for $1000.00. This surprised me as
I have always thought dealerships were more expensive. Maybe it’s just the
labor costs that are higher.
My vaccines from Monday are doing their job! Both injection sites are warm to the tough, a tad bit swollen, and sore. As my scientist friends would say, “It’s working!”
(Top is flu; bottom is COVID)
