I appreciated this email from our local democratic party (and no request for a donation!):
With deep sadness, Joe and I decided just to drive over to the Ostego No Kings rally to check it out. Once we arrived we decided to stay. It was peaceful and at one point someone walked by and said the count was 1038 people present. Later i saw counts on Facebook at 1200.
The good news is that by all accounts the No Kings protest all over America were peaceful and successful! Reading through posts on the Alt. NAtional Park Service's Facebook page was gratifying!
