Taking the Day in Stride

Today, Joe planted the rose bushes from Ohio on the south side of the house. I am looking forward to watching them grow and thrive in Minnesota.

Joe also moved our pantry cabinet from the garage to the closet in the family room. I helped organize it. We went ahead and fastened the cabinet to the wall closet in case the grandkids ever want/need to get anything from it. I have nightmares of cabinets tipping onto smaller people.

My brain is not feeling creative today, so I am going to grab a writing prompt from the Delve Deck.

What was your biggest ever waste of money?

In 2020, I purchased a StreetStrider. It is an outdoor and indoor elliptical bike. With my short legs, it is not easy for me to get off and on it safely. I have fallen trying to get off more than once. The most time I can do at one time is five minutes. I only use it if Joe is around as I fear I will seriously hurt myself. I have not even tried to get on it since we moved to Saint Michael. The grandkids enjoy getting on it though, so I am glad we hauled it across the country.
